Quest for the
transvisual of Art and Mind that may court the attention of the venturesome
reader of insights. This statement should also welcome the interest of the
beginner reader like those engaged in Human Studies. Great clowns, comedians,
are serious thinkers; to entertain is not a shame. We expect our actors,
artists, writers, to be aloof. In turn, we do not see enough of their work.
We shun mental breakdown and neglect the potential of late somebodies with
whom I am honoured to be identified. To be amongst both the
ordinary and the elite is to be with opportunity where we may be corrected
and learn more to hold with civil participation with method, practice, and
further study, given to straddle natural focus with internal vision. In time
my personal authority matured. I realised the capability to get on with
making my own original works of art. From that breakthrough
point I have so endeavoured to toil to extend my reputation. With ego drive
on hold, to momentarily joy word a couple of lines with poetic emit. For serene's gift is
to feel near in rapture's vision of the unfaded beauty of silent engagement
away from the shrill of tension road. By night we are visited by a sullen
nocturne. The morning returns to greet the hero-face. We have reached the big
smile as our welcome stranger walks well towards the heart of the mid-day sun
to bid the mind fairer to kindle the cerebral torch to illuminate the altar
of yesterday's born-again wilting wisdom. Redundant Lord of
the Ranks get to self reinvent. Become the new jolly mariner. Assume command
of the eternal cutter. Raise life's sail-cloth, for hopes flutter with the
magic winds of the metaphoric sea. Old soldier statesman, minder of
civilisation’s clever eye. Sight the Great Eagle. Glide the summer sky. Be
with the robust day while journey's muse rests her long walked foot to
mind-sketch a portrait of Servant of
expressive awareness, be with love and pride to bear the banner for Art
Truth. Visual culture has gained more erudite mind space. While our universe
continues to become a more learned place, with good faith, and the hour well
spent, can bring personal happiness to those who march the path of diligence. Hail well done, for whoever labours with paintbrush and pen, that so
renders for beauty with image and word to delightfully dance to coax the
unusual to come Enthusiasm's way for literature's circus on vocabulary day. Precious is the legacy for love and peace; ever a gift-horse for
